LAUREN GADSBY
Lauren is a warm, compassionate psychologist with a deep commitment to supporting neurodivergent children and young people, and those navigating anxiety and emotional regulation challenges. Her approach is collaborative and grounded in the belief that every child is doing their best with the resources they have, and that it’s our job to help build those resources.
Before transitioning into paediatric psychology, Lauren began her career in organisational psychology, where she conducted in-depth psychological assessments and worked with senior leaders around the world. This early experience sharpened her ability to understand complex psychological profiles and deliver clear, practical strategies - skills she now applies in helping children thrive.
Having a personal understanding of neurodivergence through her own experiences has shaped a deeply empathetic and neuroaffirming lens in Lauren’s work. She is passionate about walking alongside families with clarity and understanding to help parents feel more confident, empowered, and supported every step of the way.
Outside of work, you’ll find Lauren recharging with a walk on the beach, playing tennis or doing pilates, dancing just for fun, or being kept on her toes by Barney the dog and Kevin the cat. She’s a lifelong learner with a soft spot for research rabbit holes, always curious about what makes people tick.

About LAUREN
(for kids and teens)
Hey there, I’m Lauren! I’m a psychologist, which means I help kids and teens to feel more confident, calm, and happy, especially when things feel tricky, confusing, or just a bit too much.
When I was younger, I went through some tough times too. I got to talk to a psychologist who really helped me, and it made me realise how powerful it is to have someone on your team. That’s why I do what I do now, to help kids like you feel heard, understood, and supported 🧡
I know that everyone’s brain works a little differently but it doesn’t matter to me if your brain is super creative, full of energy, or sees the world in its own awesome way, I know I will love talking to you! 🌈 Whether you’re feeling anxious, dealing with big feelings, or just need someone to talk to, I’m here to help you figure things out in a way that works for you.
Outside of work, I love dancing, playing tennis, and doing pilates to keep my body moving and my mind happy 💃🎾 And here’s a fun fact… before I became a psychologist, I dreamed of being a world-famous ballerina! 🩰
At home, I have a very lovable dog named Barney and a very mischievous cat named Kevin 🐶🐱They keep things interesting! And when I need a break, the beach is my happy place, I love swimming, walking on the sand, or just listening to the waves 🌊
I can’t wait to meet you and go on this journey together. Let’s have some fun, learn some cool things, and discover all the amazing things that make you shine! ✨
